Who are they? Why are they? Toasters ‘N’ Moose are a fictional 70’s pop duo I created for the 2010 feature film mockumentary, “Chickens In The Shadows.” Full film below. Estelle Piper & Tom Shaw were two actors that I cast, put together, and forced to play my music. The rest is musical history. A clip of them singing my song, “Taste the Biscuit” took off on the web in 2011 and even was featured several times on the George Lopez Show. After the feature film, a few Toasters ‘N’ Moose reunions and appearances were made due to their never ending popularity.
In Oct. 2022, Toasters ‘N’ Moose blew up again on Tiktok, creating BiscuitTok. Read about in Rolling Stone. They got so popular, we even made a Christmas album and partnered with Goodwill of Arkansas for a followup song/video, “Take Me Thriftin’.“
